This place is amazing! The food was so good!!! The waitress exceptional! My husband and I both had the grilled chicken and green beans. Cooked to perfection!! We will definitely eat here again! . The ambiance was really neat, too. It was inside of a real warehouse with wooden beams, rough wood, cement floors, along with historic pictures.

Atmosphere was wonderful, charming, food was on point, we shall return. Service was quick !

Food was delicious. Had the eggplant and crab cake tower with a baked potato and the flavors were spot on. Also in our party the special was seafood gumbo and was nice dark roux filled with lots of seafood, lastly in our party we had the pork chop with stuffed potato and said was also delicious and would get again. Only downside...Bathrooms could use an update.

the food there was fantastic, I ordered the Ice cream covered Twinkie as well as the polar bear surprise. the Twinkie tasted just like how my nani used to make em back in 86'. the nostalgia was overwhelming. however apon entering the restaurant I quickly realized that no steamboat was present inside or around the proximity of the resturant which left my 22 year old son very sad because he loves steamboats. but since he wouldnt shut the fuck up I had to kick his ass and leave him in the car. so maybe change the name to something like "restaurant that serves Twinkies" to be more transparent to what's included in your dining experience. my server Melisa was very nice and even gave me a complimentary hurricane which they named after Catrina. which I don't think is good because its bad. the end thank you for listening to my Ted talk

The atmosphere is really rustic and in theme for the historic city. The food is good and plenty of seafood dishes to choose from.

Food is OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS every time. Their specials are something to which we always look forward to - you never know what amazing entrees the chef will dream up and create. The decor has a cool historic vibe to it and you find yourself intrigued with the story of this old building that has survived through its various events through the years.

Great food and atmosphere. I've been going to that place since I was a child. Great memories.

UPDATE: I can't understand the negative reviews re foods. We have been here a number of times, mostly for weekend lunch, and the offerings are always excellent. "Ambience" is great, building is ancient warehouse from pre-highway days, when almost everything traveled by boat. Waitstaff is young locals, good knowledge of area & menu. There is a nice small bar in the center. Place is extremely popular w/ area folks, and can be crowded. When visiting a new place, stick with specialties; here those are local area seafoods (crawfish, catfish, shrimp & crab). Steaks have been excellent for this type eatery. Unless you are ravenous, plan for a go-box for leftovers. The large gravel & grass parking lot can also be crowded, go early for the little shade available. So far, I have enjoyed every trip and every meal; and I'm a hyper-critical area native diner. If you don't try Steamboat Warehouse, you'll never know ! Rick .

A friend took us here for dinner. I forgot to take pictures of the food but it was very good and well presented. They had good portions and good service. I got the baked potato soup and a salad. My husband got the redfish and our fried got baked chicken. It was all good and we had no complaints. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks filled, she was able to give suggestions of popular items and such. It's a busy place on a Friday night with a live band in the back outside, we waited for about 45 minutes for a table, you give your number and they text you when your table is ready so you can go sit out back and enjoy the music.
